What I collect, which is very little.
No advertising trackers, no data sale, no profiles built on readers.
What you send me
If you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address, and message you type, and whether you asked for the monthly letter. I use them to reply to you and, if you asked, to send the letter. Nothing else.
What the site collects on its own
The site runs no advertising trackers and sells no data. Basic server and hosting logs may record requests in the ordinary course of operating a website. If aggregate analytics are ever added, this page will say so before they are.
Third-party tools
Some pages embed a third-party quoting tool. When you interact with it, you are dealing with that provider under its own privacy terms, and any information you enter goes to it. I do not receive your entries unless you send them to me.
The monthly letter has an unsubscribe link in every issue. Unsubscribing removes your address from the list. Ask me to delete anything else you have sent and I will.
